This is an extremely scenic walk of 2.5 miles and is mostly downhill if two cars are used, with one being left in Thorverton at the post office car park or outside the church.
This is a 5.5 mile ramble starting outside Shobrooke Church but the railway station at Newton St Cyres is also a convenient starting point. It is mainly on quiet lanes and good well marked footpaths with two bracing hill climbs and rewarding views.
This is an easy walk of 3.5 miles taking 2 hours mostly on well marked field paths with some pleasing views of the countryside to the north and east of this area of the Exe valley, with several possible variations and extensions.
This is a circular walk starting at Fingle Bridge and taking in some of the highest hills (Cranbrook Down, Butterdon Down and Mardon Down) and best views in the Teign Gorge area.
