Crediton Army Cadets

The Army Cadets (ACF) offer 12 -18 year olds the opportunity to learn new skills, develop confidence and build resilience through military-themed activities and training. Based at Crediton Fire Station, they offer structured programmes including adventure training, leadership exercises, first aid and community service.

Holy Cross Junior Choir

An opportunity to learn about music as well as develop team and social skills in a fun and safe environment. Meets on Tuesday and Friday evenings. For more details contact the Director of Music.

Significant Seams

Run a wide range of holiday activities for 11-16 year olds, including art workshops, outdoor learning, drama and music making. All our programmes provide food for participants. We also offer volunteering opportunities for young people. Follow us on Eventbrite for news of latest bookable events.

Crediton Library - Children & Youth Groups

A range of one off and regular events for children including Lego Club and reading challenges. We also run two reading groups, for 10-12 year olds and teenagers, which meet every half term to talk about books and engage in book-related activities.

Crediton Youth Orchestra

A vibrant ensemble for young people of all ages, playing music of all styles. Meets on Wednesdays in term time from 4.15pm to 6.45pm at Crediton Congregational Church. No auditions necessary and all instruments welcome. We also run several smaller ensembles. Contact Alison Golby for more details.

Devon Young Farmers

Led by young people, for young people, provides members aged 10 to 28 with a unique opportunity to develop skills, work with their local community, travel abroad, take part in competitions and enjoy a dynamic social life. You don’t have to be a farmer to join. Local clubs include Bampton, Bow, Cheriton & Tedburn, Cruwys Morchard, Okehampton, Newton St Cyres and Witheridge.

Crediton Rugby Club

An inclusive club for juniors aged 9-16 years old. Mixed gender teams from U9’s to U11’s with separate boys and girls teams for older children. Junior training sessions are on Thursday and Friday evenings, games played on Sundays.

Crediton Congregational Church Youth Club

A drop-in club every Friday in term time from 7pm to 8.30pm. Loads to do, including pool, air hockey, wii and xbox, music room, outdoor games and a different craft or activity each week. Soft drinks on sale and free food. Open to anyone from Year 7 to 13.
