During three weeks of creative fun at the Crediton Heart summer workshops people of all ages came together to learn new skills and produce some fabulous artwork including pottery, poetry, jewellery and a wise old owl made from willow.

Sculpting the wise owl

More than 160 people - aged from 5 to 85 – took part in the workshops in a marquee on the land between Tesco and Redlands surgery.  There were 15 different workshops ranging from creative writing and pottery to robot making and graffiti art.

They were organised by the Crediton Heart Project, which manages this website, in partnership with Redlands Surgery, the Crediton Arts Centre, the Turning Tides Project and the White Room Creative Space.

Here’s a slideshow of what we’ve been up to. We hope you enjoy it.
