This time of year is usually filled with spooky Halloween discos, dressing-up and trick or treating. All is not lost though!  Local mum Charlie Richards has rounded up a few ghastly Halloween themed things to do in and around Crediton to keep the spirit alive.

Thornes PYO Pumpkin Festival Thursday to Saturday 10:00am - 4:00pm / Thornes Farm Shop / Free - pay for pumpkins
Would it even feel like Halloween if you didn’t make a slightly over ambitious attempt to copy and carve that pumpkin picture you found on google images only with slightly dodgy results? (Apologies here to those who are first-rate pumpkin carvers). Make your way to Thornes Farm Shop and pick pumpkins galore.

Get your mitts in that mahoosive bag of treats, crack open the cider and see you on the sofa!” They’re a friendly bunch, so why not?

They say “Bring your little rotters for covid secure trick or treating - if you’re brave enough. Sorry adults, kiddies treats only, no healthy food on this occasion. Ha Ha Haaaa!”
