Summer is the time for open air theatre and across Mid Devon there is a wealth of shows to choose from. From Alice in Wonderland and Peter Pan to Shakespeare and Gilbert & Sullivan there are productions to suit all ages and tastes performed in some gorgeous outdoor settings. Some are free and most require you to bring a blanket or chair. And of course, as this is Britain, do remember to go prepared for all weathers.
The Common Players are touring their quirky production of Alice in Wonderland throughout Devon. Expect larger than life characters, puppets, live music, dancing and lashings of absurdity. Pack a picnic, bring a chair or blanket and follow them down the rabbit hole. Here are the performances which are closest to Crediton.
